Caramel Apple Freeze

Happy Halloween!!

My kiddos are out of school today, so we are spending the day playing Halloween games, getting free Jamba juice and cupcakes, trick-or-treating at daddy's work, and generally causing havoc.

Wish I could send them to school tomorrrrrrow...  (Dude.  Seriously the one day of the year I do NOT miss teaching.)

Since I am genuinely concerned you may not consume enough sugar today, I thought I'd introduce you to my friend, the caramel apple freeze today.  These taste just like those Caramel Apple lollipops that are popular this time of year.

Are you doing anything fun to celebrate Halloween today?

Caramel Apple Freeze
Makes 1
-3/4 cup Club soda
-24 ice cubes
-3 Tbsp Green Apple Torani syrup*
-1 Tbsp caramel ice cream syrup (I used Hershey's ice cream topping)

Add first 3 ingredients to a blender and blend until slushy.

Warm your caramel syrup in the microwave for about 30 seconds..  Using a spoon, drizzle caramel syrup down the inner sides of a serving glass.  Add slushie and serve immediately.

*I found mine at a store in California called Smart & Final.  Pirate O's in Draper, Utah also has it.  It is a hard-to-find flavor, so if you don't live near either of these stores, you may just want to order it online.

  1. This looks seriously awesome! I usually (mostly) just gaze longingly at all the yummy treats I see online..but this one will be happening in my kitchen soon! The photo is great, and I love the colors. This would be perfect at Christmas. Grinch Punch!
